Kicking Off 2022
2022 is off to an incredible start, and we couldn’t have done it without our network of supporters, donors, and friends. We are thrilled to report that we not only met, but exceeded, the goal of our 2021 Annual Appeal raising over $72,000 in total — more than $12,000 above our goal! The generosity of our community will allow us not only to provide for our Kailash Kids this year, but will also give us the necessary capital to begin a number of long planned improvement projects at Kailash Home including new showers for our girls’ dormitories, a brand new washer and dryer, updated beds & mattresses, and roofing & fencing updates across the property. But the good news doesn’t stop there. We are also excited to share that with the addition of the 12-17 year old group (pictured above), all of our eligible children have now received their COVID vaccinations, additionally several of our graduates are headed to University in the coming weeks, and all of our children are healthy and back in their academic classrooms. In short, we are moving into the new year with gratitude and optimism.
